Certification standards
These are the conditions a company location must satisfy before its profile can be published as Directory Certified, and the conditions under which the designation is withdrawn.
Eligibility
- The listing is a published company location with a permanent directory URL
- The business is contactable at a working telephone number or website
- The location has a primary market and at least one defined service area
- Business identity information is internally consistent across the profile
Information requirements
Before publication, the profile must carry an approved logo and an approved hero image, an editorial overview, at least one detailed service section, a corrections contact and a recorded editorial review. Reviews, team biographies, projects and rating data are optional enhancements and never block publication.
Source labelling
Every credential, licence, insurance record and service description is stored with its source status and displayed with that label. A profile cannot present company-reported information as independently verified.
Review and renewal
Certified profiles are re-checked automatically on a recurring schedule. A failed check records the reason, and unresolved failures lead to the profile being unpublished until the information is corrected.
Withdrawal
The designation is withdrawn if the business becomes uncontactable, if licensing or insurance information is found to be inaccurate, if a corrections request identifies a material misstatement that is not resolved, or if the company asks to be removed.
