Directory Certified

What Directory Certified means

Directory Certified is an editorial designation applied to an individual company location after its profile has been reviewed against a published standard.

It applies to a location, not a brand

The designation is attached to one company location and one permanent URL. A multi-location business does not inherit the designation across every branch; each location is reviewed on its own information.

What a Certified profile contains

  • An editorially reviewed company overview and the reasons the designation was granted
  • Detailed service sections with the source of each description labelled
  • Local restoration experience for the areas the company actually covers
  • Recent projects described with real scope, complications and outcome
  • Credentials, licensing and insurance, each carrying its source status
  • Company team information where the company supplies it
  • The company's connected Google Business Profile identifiers, where connected
  • Company-specific FAQs, editorial transparency, information sources and a corrections contact
  • A visible profile freshness date from the recurring automated check

What it does not mean

Directory Certified is not a licence, a warranty, an insurance guarantee, a quality ranking or a promise about response times. It does not mean the directory has inspected the company's work, and it does not mean unlisted companies are unsuitable.

Where a credential has not been independently confirmed, the profile says “Company-Reported” rather than implying verification.

Read the standard

The full criteria, review process, renewal schedule and removal conditions are published on the certification standards page, with the detailed scoring methodology on the methodology page.

Companies interested in review can submit their business.
