How this directory is built

A Free listing is a factual business record: name, primary location, contact details, services, service areas, hours, and any information the verified owner has added. It is not an endorsement, and the directory says so on every profile.

A Directory Certified listing is an editorially reviewed profile. It uses the same permanent URL as the Free listing and adds directory-written sections, detailed service coverage, credentials with source labels, recent project detail, and a recorded review date. The standard is published in full.

Every meaningful fact on a profile carries one of three labels:

• Company-Reported — supplied by the business itself and not independently checked.
• Directory-Supplied — recorded by the directory from public records or editorial review.
• Third-Party Verified — confirmed against an issuing body or verification provider, with the date shown.

Location pages list companies that have a service area covering that municipality. Directory Certified profiles appear above Free listings because they carry substantially more reviewed information. Within each group, ordering does not depend on payment for placement.

The directory does not publish aggregate star ratings pulled from third-party review platforms, and it does not rank companies by advertising spend.

A business owner can claim their listing and then update normal business information — contact details, hours, services, service areas, description and photographs — which publish immediately with an audit record.

Owners cannot publish certification status, certification reasons, independently verified labels, editorial conclusions or freshness results. Those remain directory-controlled.

Certified profiles are re-checked on a recurring schedule and carry a visible freshness date. Anyone can report a correction, including people who are not connected to the business.
