Anyone can request a correction — business owners, customers, insurers or licensing bodies.
What to send
- The exact page address the problem appears on
- The statement that is wrong, quoted as it appears
- What the correct information is
- Where the correct information can be confirmed, if a source exists
What happens next
Factual business details are corrected once confirmed. Credential and licensing questions are re-checked against the issuing body where one exists. If a claim cannot be substantiated, it is removed rather than softened.
If you own the business
Claiming your listing is faster than sending corrections: verified owners update contact details, hours, services, service areas, description and photographs directly, and those changes publish immediately. Find your listing from the location index and use the claim link on your profile.
Removal requests
A business may ask for its listing to be removed. Send the request from an address at the business domain, or from the account of a verified owner, and include the listing URL.
