Terms of use

The Restoration Directory is owned and operated by Justified Media. It is a research and reference directory of restoration companies, organised by state, county and city. It publishes business information so a property owner can compare companies and contact them directly. In these terms, "the directory" means the site and its operator, Justified Media.

• It is not a restoration contractor and performs no restoration work
• It does not dispatch crews and does not take emergency service calls
• It does not quote, estimate, supervise, inspect or guarantee any work
• It is not a party to any agreement between you and a listed company
• It is not a licensing body, insurer, adjuster or public authority

A listing is not an endorsement or a recommendation, and it is not a substitute for your own checks. Confirm licensing, insurance and pricing directly with any company before you hire it.

Directory information is compiled from the sources described in the editorial standards and is labelled with where it came from. Information can become outdated between reviews. The site and its content are provided as they are, without a warranty that every detail is current, complete or fit for a particular decision.

You are responsible for the security of your account and for everything done through it. You may only create an account for a business you are authorised to represent. Accounts that misrepresent a relationship to a business may be closed.

You must have the right to submit the text, images, logos and links you upload, and you give the directory permission to publish them as part of the listing. Do not submit content that is false, misleading, someone else's property, or a claim you cannot support — including credentials, certifications, awards, review content or insurance details. The directory may edit, decline or remove submitted content, and owners remain responsible for the accuracy of what they submit.

Directory Certified is a paid membership priced per physical business location ($50 per month or $500 per year). Payment unlocks the Certified workspace and the editorial review process. Payment alone does not certify a company, does not publish a certified profile, and does not display the Directory Certified badge. Certification requires editorial review and approval, and it may be withheld, unpublished, suspended or revoked. The Directory Certified standards set out the full conditions.

Nothing about a listing or a membership guarantees search rankings, AI search citations, leads, enquiries, insurance claims, insurer approval, referrals or job volume.

Membership is billed in advance on the cadence chosen at checkout and renews until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals; ending a membership removes Certified workspace access and the Certified presentation, and the location returns to a free directory listing. Payment is processed by Stripe.

Do not scrape, bulk-copy or resell directory content, attempt to gain access to another company's workspace, submit automated or spam submissions, or interfere with the operation or security of the site.

The directory may unpublish a listing, remove content, or close an account where these terms are breached, where ownership cannot be verified, or where published information is found to be inaccurate and is not corrected.

To the extent permitted by law, the directory is not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on directory information, or from your dealings with a listed company. Any dispute about work performed is between you and that company.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or to use of the site is subject to the courts located in the State of Tennessee.
